About

Since 2005, Frobeck has been astonishing audiences throughout Northern California with their unique blend of Pop, Funk, and Rock music.

Frobeck at leisure

Frobeck often just chills at abandoned warehouses.

With high-octane vocals, life-altering songs, and world-class musicianship it was only a matter of time before they launched to the forefront of the Northern California music scene. In 2008 they won a North Bay Music Award (NORBAY) for Best Rock Group and also won first place at the Mystic Theater Battle of the Bands in Petaluma.

They have shared the stage with Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Tommy Castro, Big Brother and the Holding Company, The New Mastersounds, Trombone Shorty, Papa Grows Funk, Los Lonely Boys and many other nationally recognized acts. Boasting a full lineup of bass, drums, guitars, keys replete with sultry backing vocals, Frobeck covers all the bases. With the recent addition of an earth-shaking horn section, Frobeck has entered into the realm of their musical heroes: Tower of Power, The Sons of Champlin, and Stevie Wonder. Frobeck is sure to get your blood pumping, booty shaking, and your groove grooving.

  2. My sister sent me a link to your "Not Gonna Happen" video on youtube and I was blown away! I quickly went to iTunes and downloaded your CD, put on the earphones, and got lost in your awesome musicianship! You guys are such a breath of fresh air! Every song seems to have a surprise in it somewhere....whether it's a complicated drum tempo, funky bass groove, brilliant guitar solo, high energy keyboards (love the organ sound!), and/or tight vocals....you guys are it! Can't wait to see you live! Cheers to your continued success!
